Watch with baby at Peckham Cinema

Does anyone know when this is? Or how I find out what film is showing? I can't find any information on their website and nobody is answering the phone at the cinema! Thanks

It's on Thursday mornings but hasn't been running during the school holidays so back on soon I guess. When it's on, they include the baby screening details in their 'what's on' section for Thursday. I think you can also register to get emails.

It's on Thursday mornings at 11.30, term time only so should be starting again next week.

They release the listings each Friday, so next week's listings will be online this Friday.

There are also similar screenings at the Ritzy in Brixton, on Wednesday and Friday mornings I think. Down as I Scream club on their website.

Just wanted to say that I tried the Thursday showing at Peckham today - could walk there, ?5.99 with cuppa and muffin included, nice staff and bags of room. Fab.

It was one of my fave things to do with my baby the whole first year after he was born (he's now 13 months). I miss it a lot since I've been back to work - I might book a Thursday off just for the occasion :)

What happens with the prams? Do you leave them outside?

Radnrach - I LOVED it too! Always lovely staff, lovely atmosphere. Saw some good films and some tripe but didn't matter! Can't quite imagine going with my manic active 14 month old but maybe should try for old time's sake!

I agree ladies - when my son was a baby 4 years there wasn't that many options - now there are 2 a week at Greenwich et al, and the Peckham cinema! With the prams you can bring them to the foyer just outside where the usher puts a numbered ticket on the pram giving you the corresponding one. Soe ladies brought their car seats in. I agree with the choice of films - really don't mind - I was cockahoop just to be out!!!!

Also I never took pram, always ergo'd - this guaranteed at least an hour of sleep with minimal pacing required (loud noise made even my son very sleepy).

I also credit the Peckham Plex experience with my son sleeping while watching films on my knee on a transatlantic flight - only sleep he got in 11 hours so was v grateful!
