Hi

As winter is just around the corner, (still hoping for an Indian summer though!) I'm thinking about getting a footmuff for the LO who is 21 months. We currently have a Bugaboo Bee (the old style) When he was very mini we originally had the Bugaboo Cocoon, but instead of forking out on another expensive bugaboo footmuff, can anyone recomend another option that will work just as well? Or am I just as well to use a warm blanket?!?

Many thanks

Personally I think they are good and have always had one on various buggies/prams....however toddlers and muddy shoes and their general attitude (!) seems to mean it's more tricky to accommodate older ones than babies - and some footmuffs are quite small so if your little boy is tall you might have to be careful.

Good in the rain/snow though as some degree of waterproof protection too...

SE girl- we have a blue fleece one w/ polka dots which fitted our old style bee just fine- you're welcome to have it if you like- it doesn't fit the double buggy. Sigh.

On a personal note, huge apologies for not emailing you back many months ago. I'm a bit crap when pregnant- must make sure that doesn't happen again!!!

    • Another positive recommendation for Jan and co from Silver Fern We had removed trees that were uprooting the brick pavement. Jan and co successfully removed the roots under the brick pavement and levelled the driveway off using the original bricks. Work done to a high standard and no mess no fuss with the work. Quote was excellent value and work done in under 2 days. Neighbours have booked him for some other work. Really nice guy and friendly workers throughout. Toilet and tea breaks provided by the residents here. Thanks Jan and co.
