I'm after a holiday-let next August, anywhere in Europe for my family, parents, sister and 4 kids.

We need;

at least 5 bedrooms, walking distance of the sea, suitable for 4 kids ranging from 1 year - 13, for 2 weeks

If you have a holiday let or can recommend a company, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hiya

we are just back from a 2 week holiday in Santa Maria di Castelabbate in southern Italy (about 60miles south of Naples). We were 2 adults, one teenager and a 7months old baby. The place we stayed in has several appartments varying sizes but it does not feel like an apartment complex at all - more like individual villas. The area is really interesting, beaches, caves, ancient ruins and lovely countryside are all really close by. The town is approx 5-10 min walk, there are two beaches in the town (these do get very busy though) approx 15 min walk (albeit down a very steep short hill - it is not for someone with limited mobility however we managed fine with a baby buggy). Other beaches are a short drive or longer walk. It seems a place were the Italians go on holiday - lots of nice restaurants too!

I can hugely recommend, we will defintely go back (have no other connection to the place). I have attached the link address in tripadvisor in case you are interested:

We've been using Tuscany Now (tuscanynow.com) for the last 5 years. Despite their name, they have villas all over Italy and their services are wonderful as you can arrange for cooks, nannies, wine tastings, etc. to come to you. We've only stayed at two different places as we enjoy going back, but they have some amazing looking properties on the beach in Sicily which I keep wanting to see.

Hope that helps.

    • No need to provoke you since you respond constantly to everything. It is not a gross exaggeration - I took photos. Do you not like people answering back? A bit head girl aren't you. Unkempt roads and weed-lifted pavements with dog faces bags all over the place - when the blue bags, which are regularly not collected by the LA, are split open by foxes. Again, I have photos.
    • Came across this link today that generates a stock letter to you MP if you object to the Proposed chases in their current format.  https://takingthepip.co.uk/write-to-your-mp/#letter Again, not trying to change individuals minds on here but get a fair consultation and discussion  Only thing to remember is add your contact number to the bottom.orherwise it is ignored
    • @HeadNun I haven't been through the assessment for mental health issues, god knows they treat you like you have one when you are assessed for motability issues. Therefore I can't comment on what you've read but don't always believe what the media telks you as they often sensationalise things to sell papers and bend the story slightly 😉  All I am doing in this thread is asking people who disagree to the PIP reform in its current format to write to their MP to say so and ask for a well consulted and thought through change. I'm not here to change people's minds but happy to discuss how disability impacts lives.
