We have been really happy with our Bee for the past two years and I was just going to get a double buggy for No. 2 that will arrive in January. I was rather infatuated with Donkey so went to see one at the weekend and actually didn't really like it after all.

On top of all this, John Lewis has given us a full refund for our original Bee as it had a faulty strap. Thought they would just replace the part but what great customer service! So, we are back to the drawing board with the buggy dilemma.

Having ruled out the Donkey, I think I would like to get a second hand P&T at some point but would still like either the Bee or Cameleon as the main buggy for the little one. As said before, been happy with Bee but Cameleon does look more comfortable, especially when they are little and can use the carrycot.

Any thoughts mums?

I have no opninon on the bee but we went for a chameleon as it looked like a longer term buggy to me.... we used the carry cot as a travel cot whilst baby f was little and that was really useful to have something comfortable that he knew to take with us and made going away really easy... he now loves the seat and sleeps really well when reclined and loves being upright in it when awake!

It is bigger than the bee but I still get on and off of busses easily and do it a lot.

I also think it will work well with a buggy board on when no 2 comes along (ha ha!!)

oh and we got ours 2nd hand on the forum (where else!) so got a bargain and it's in fab condition so a v good purchase me thinks!

Another vote for the cameleon. For the reasons mentioned above and we've had ours 4+ years now and it is still going strong! Added a buggy board when number 2 came along which worked brilliantly. Oldest was 2.5 when second came so invested in a second frame for first few months so we could have both carry cot and bigger seat ready to go depending on which child was in the buggy.
A lady emailed me the other day asking if we did sheets for this one: http://www.uppababy.com/ Apparently was top rated by Which!! And is rather good (sorry to not strictly answer your question.... I'm a Bugaboo Cameleon lady, personally, but if I had another I think I would be open to be wooed by another mainly as it's not the best buggy for car travel!)

She is small, dark grey, short hair, female (neutered), microchipped and very fast. Has long skinny front legs can really jump. Likes to hide under cushions and in small spaces - Please check your sheds and garages for her. Much loved family pet and very nervous Ex- rescue. If you see her please message us - thanks

    • I remember in the 70s the Union Jack was similarly appropriated by the National Front and later the British Party, I regarded it in the same way many perceive the St George's flag today. The Union Jack went through a period of rehabilitation in the 90s and probably viewed more positively by the left today. I wonder though if the anti immigration groups who have appropriated the St George;s flag realise that St George was born in what is modern day Turkey.
