Someone trying to shot fox

At around 2am on overhill rd a car was shooting at a little fox probably a air rifle made lots of shots

Is there anything I can do about this

What an upsetting thing to witness ,horrible for you .

I hope none of the shot hit the fox . I don't know what to suggest - maybe the non urgent police line 101 . Obviously they can't do anything now but I imagine they would want to log details of someone taking pot shots from a car .

Also, I would report to the RSPCA. Again, they will add to their logs and maybe will link it to any injured foxes brought on from this area.

anybody using an air rifle in the street or any public place should be reported to the police immediately it is witnessed. this is not only an animal welfare issue, just as using a shotgun on a fox in the street would not be.

Yes I reported it to police online I will now do RSPCA

Do not think the fox got hit as did not hear it cry but there were many shots fired pinging on lamp posts and railing

let not conflate this cat killer issue with every incident in the SE - anyone shooting or displaying a gun in public should really be reported to the cops on 999 immediately - its not really an issue for judgement - its a gun in public

Did not get reg once I saw what was happening just ducked behind balcony did not want them to see me

Police are coming to see me as they said it's serious someone going around shooting from a car

Its not the cat killer its not his MO he decapitates heads and cuts their tails off. I think this is someone as equally twisted but uses a gun and probably not as prolific.
