Help with Damp

Hi,

We have some damp in one of our cupboads in or lounge. Can anyone please recommened someone that could help diagnose the problem and carry out the work?

I've used a company called Allied Remedials who seem to have been going for many years. When I had 5 quotes they were also the cheapest and the most honest as well.

Do not use Kenwood plc.

5 trips, mess each time, never fixed. Made me wait 6 months between each visit as the treatment needed to dry out.

Find the reason for the damp, could be damp course not working, penetration through wall due to leaking pipes or gutter, no ventelation to cupboard when damp clothing are put there.

I had a funy expereriance when asked why a cupboard was alway damp in a bedroom, soon found the reason ........ the Chamber pot inside was still full. :))
