Hiya, the Copleston Centre on Copleston Road has a great playgroup between 10am and 12noon on Tuesdays, ?1 per child - they're looking for volunteers who can help put out the toys too, it's run by mums with all proceeds to the church. Biscuits, tea, coffee and healthy snacks for the little ones. I'm back at work now so don't help out there anymore, but it really was my favorite group... it's a huge space for the kiddies to let off some steam, my two always had a great nap afterwards!

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am - 12noon, salvation army in camberwell also has an ace group, with the best singing and noisemaking session at the end!

That's brilliant thank you, I did try copleston tuesday just gone and it was very busy, and everyone sat in groups, I didn't find it very welcoming. My daughter on the other hand loved it and slept well afterwards but she didn't leave my side like she has at other groups. Still on the look out for others though. Will try salvation army one though.

    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may well be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
    • The Pain de Campagne. The fruit breads look and smell good too but my missing teeth must include the sweet one.
    • Do tell me more. Is this we've all gone to hell in a handcart alarmist stuff?
