I often get deliveries from Tesco and Ocado (boycotted Sainsbury's home delivery after two no shows out of two).

Recently, I have been noticing that they are managing to avoid giving me the advertised deals by telling me one of my items in the multiple offer is not available, or not sending me my 25% off voucher for having spent more than ?80 with the the previous week, or substituting an offer item with a cheaper non offer item. Has anyone else experienced this? I would be very interested to know.

I use Tesco every week (used to use Ocado but don't like the fact that everything comes packaged!), and don't really have any problems with them at all. In fact I often find they substitute with more expensive things which is great - yesterday I had ordered a small pack of dishwasher tablets that were on offer (around ?3-?4ish) and they substituted a massive pack worth about ?12 - result!

I'm sure both companies would be happy to refund if you give them a call.

I have only recently started buying online from Sainsburys in an effort to save money, banning myself from going into shops & making those tempting compulsive buys:-$ So far, so good. All deliveries have turned up on time. Once I received a bag of courgettes & some of them were going bad so I just rang Sainsburys & they gave me a refund. The only thing I do find a bit annoying is the online trolly - you have to be careful & keep saving it along the way as it times out & items can disappear without you noticing!(6)

    • The programme was brilliant and makes me wary now of sea paddling as so many areas affected. My daughter was working at a bank when privatisation of utility companies were floated. Bank advised its staff that only x number of shares could be purchased by individuals as Government rules at that time. She reported that certain people were seeking double and triple shares. Bank told her to ignore the guidelines as those customers had thousands of pounds in the bank. She was so disgusted at the banks attitude she handed in her notice, She decided that the financial world was too corrupt. Two degrees later - she now works in the NHS as an OT in mental health unit.

    • Petition Urge Israeli Government to stop law allowing execution of Palestinian prisoners The UK Government must act urgently to urge the Israeli Government to stop the proposed law which would permit the execution of Palestinian Prisoners, past, present and future. More details We believe that such a law would constitute complete violation of the Geneva Convention and International Human Rights Law. UN experts have called for these proposals to be dropped. We call on the UK Government apply considerable and substantial political pressure and the leverage of its international obligations to prevent the Israeli Government from passing this law.
