We need to get a couple of spare sets of car keys made for our 2007 ford focus. Haven't had to do this before and so was wondering whether you have to do this via a ford dealer or whether you can get this done for cheaper elsewhere? Have had a quick search on the net and there are lots of 'car keys r us' type sites but they don't look particularly reputable. Any tips welcome.

Speak to a dealer, they'll need to order and code the keys from your master key. Around ?100 odd a set, and you'll have more comeback with a dealer than one of these other places. If you don't need the full electronic key, you can get a basic one as backup cheaper.

    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
