Now that's a blast from the past!! A Uni day tipple.....was that the beginnings of alcopops? Closely followed by hooch!

I've not seen it in years. Presume the big supermarkets dont sell it.

Are there any old school off licences locally? Thinkvthey would be the most likely stockist.

I think Two Dogs and Hooch were both alcoholic lemonade. Can't remember which was first..... Do remember drinking far too much of both!!

Hooch had a cartoon lemon on it originally which the manufacturers were made to change since it was deemed to encourage children to drink it.

20/20 we used to drink whilst getting ready to go out! Don't remember liking it even then!

And what was the difference between blue and red Thunderbird, *Bob*? I remember neither as tasting of much.

I think its usually drunk straight from the bottle.

Which is probably just as well as I don't like to ask what type of glass should, or should not, be used.

    • Miss Robson is the last of the old school independent vets. All the chains are have seriously hiked their prices over the last few years which now makes pet ownership only possible for the wealthy few. Even with pet insurance -( which often excludes items or has ‘deductibles’ ) it is just so much money. A visit with some medication is often £150 - £200. The vets themselves are excellent.
