Am I the only person who thinks that Veolia/Southwark Council are blighting the borough with bins?!

I returned from holiday halfway through September to find yet another set of large bins crammed into our small terraced street; (we have very little space at the front of the houses.) There are now blue, green and brown bins marching up the road, with some on the pavement.

And it's not just in my street. Do we really need all these large bins? can someone in charge of this have a bit of vision and come up with a more environmentally friendly system?

    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
