Hi all,

I am looking for a postition 3/4 days per week Monday - Thursday.

I have worked as a Nanny in the area since February 2011. I am well connected with other nannies in the area. And know lots of groups/ activities for both babies and preschoolers.

I have three children of my own two go to school full time. And my youngest is 2.5 years old and is with me at the moment but will be starting mornings at preschool.

I have all the relevant training;

Paediatric first aid (april 18. This is renewed every 3 years)

Current DBS check (on annual update service)

Level 3 childcare qualification (2011)

I had a job to start in two weeks but due to a change of circumstances this will not be going ahead. I am happy to offer temporary cover/ adhoc care if I can?t find a position to start straight away.

I drive a 7 seater car with Isofix car seats and hold a clean drivers license since 2009.

I can provide excellent references.

I am so lucky to have found Adelle.

She is simply the best.

Adelle was the nanny for my daughter from age 1 - 2 (when she started nursery).

She has a wonderful way with children and my daughter adores her.

Adelle is efficient, kind and patient and has so much experience. She provides lovely healthy meals for the children, ensures they take part in an array of activities and has a calm and unflappable manner.

Nothing is too much for her.

I thoroughly recommend Adelle - your child will be looked after and nurtured beautifully.

My daughter is now nearly 5 and still talks about Adelle and her lovely family (in fact we still see her as she feels like part of the family). We all love her!

Adelle has been looking after my son who is now 2 and a quarter for approximately a year.

He's basically part of her family. He often talks about 'Aunty Dell' and 'Hammy' (Henry, her youngest) who is basically his best friend.

She's incredibly kind and loving and you couldn't wish for a better person to care for your child.

They always do fun stuff together, he's outside a lot which is fab and they go to playgroups when the weather is bad, so he gets to socialise and interact with others.

Despite Jack starting nursery for 2 days a week when he was 18 months old, we have kept this arrangement with Adelle as taking him away from her would be just awful - he'd be devastated as would she! So what does that say to you?

Never underestimate the value of someone 100% trustworthy and kind and caring - it's worth its weight in gold when they're looking after the most precious thing in your life.

Happy to take a call if you want to talk to me.

I can only second all of the comments above. She's a true gem.

Adelle looked after our 1 year old daughter for over a year. Her calm, kind and genuinely caring manner meant we felt confident that our little one was in the very best hands. My return to work was so much easier than it otherwise could have been and I'll always be grateful to Adelle for that.

My daughter still talks really fondly of 'Nanny Adelle' and her lovely family. Luckily for us, we're still in touch, over two years on.

More than happy to take a call too.

Likewise, can't recommend Adelle highly enough - sadly we had to say goodbye as we were moving out of London, but ideally we would have kept her as our (second) son's nanny for as long as she would have him!

She is calm, incredibly patient, warm, cuddly and creative - and all of that with 3 of her own kids to manage, it never ceased to amaze me!

Adelle was also brilliantly flexible with dates, accommodating last minute requests for slight changes to days - but always reliable too - incredibly rare.

Do give me a buzz if you want to speak in person about references.

We're missing her terribly already!

I can totally vouch for Adelle. She was brilliant with our daughter (who had never been in childcare) and there was absolutely no stress with settling in at all. Our daughter went to her like a family member and adored hanging out with Adelle's son too. It felt like a really family operation.

She was also really helpful when there were bugs and sickness. As a mother, I think she knew how hard it can be and always took our daughter if she could. She was also flexible on days which was great as we are both freelance.

Go meet Adelle! Give me a message if you want to ask any questions. R x

    • Looking for a new member of the family.  Will be looking into cat resuce centre's as well before anyone mentions. But my son is in adoration with Kittens and would like to bring one up from a young age. If anyone has any leads, they would be most welcome.
    • I'm not suggesting that the staff are not good people, it's a fantastic charity to work or volunteer for and what they champion and advocate for is super important. It's great that you had a successful adoption through them and really good to hear that you had a positive experience but I was relaying that anecdotally the many people I know who have tried to rescue a cat from them have been turned down. I myself tried to adopt from them a few years ago and they nixed my application when I said I lived on a road which cars go down. They didn't even do a home visit, that was enough to rule us out. Hopefully things have changed since then to allow more animals to find a loving home.
    • Wow you did a very brave thing.  Sometimes you just feel well proud to be a Londoner.  Bless you 🙏
    • Do you have a rebounder gathering dust? If so, I would like to buy and collect at your convenience any condition considered Many thanks in advance
