An hour is a period of 60 minutes. I think the OP means 48 of them (or 96 if you call on a Friday) may pass before the offending item is removed from the pavement.

I've often just washed an offending deposit left outside my house into the gutter with water and disinfectant. I don't know if that's entirely legal but it seemed much better than leaving it on the footpath, and I'm certainly not tempted to pick it up.

It would be easier if it wAs by my house ... The bloody stuff is everywhere


I always report it via my phone and used to see it gone next time I passed, usually... But not any more, it seems


I reported some on Saturday that was still there on Wednesday

new mothers should not be expected to do these things.

Did you take a sample on Saturday to compare it Wednesday's poo? It may have been cleared up but another was left in just the same spot. Just a thought. I've had another one (thought). Did you take a picture with your phone? Probably as good as taking a sample and less messy.

    • Without doubt.. just seem to expect others or council to deal with it…no, don’t think it is that …just the fact that people these days are working hard, tired, stressed.. what were houses are now converted into flats…there is community spirit, well hope so.. neighbours hardly see one another, let alone know each other as work schedule is no longer 7/9 …only older more established people who have lived in area, and not making a quick buck, understand… people don’t even have the time to talk to neighbours unless annoyed or complaining.. when was the last time one smiled and said hello..or even started a conversation in a queue? 
    • Hi I’m looking for some classic plastic garden chairs (1 or more) to borrow or take off someones hands for a project I’m working on. Need by Wednesday!  Ideally in white, or light blue .
