Happy Toddlers is a small private nursery set in a large garden flat of a lovely Victorian property situated on Marmora Road, East Dulwich. The entire property is given over to childminding and has the unique advantage of being set within a home environment but with all the resources of a larger nursery including a large play area, dining area with nursery style tables and chairs, large kitchen which facilitates the cooking of freshly prepared food, separate cot room, large garden and fully equipped log cabin with resources to suit every age group. The setting is run by experienced and highly qualified staff two of whom hold Degrees. We also have a member with teaching assistant experience. At Happy Toddlers we take a nurturing and supportive approach to each of the children in our care during those all important formative years and work in partnership with you as parents and carers to ensure the best possible outcome for your child.

I currently have spaces and operate the 15 Free Hours Early Entitlement scheme for 3 and 4 year olds. If you are interested in finding out more about my setting and would like a copy of our parents information pack then please contact me.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
