Come and join The kids Clay Workshop (for ages 3-5 years) to make a step by step project in clay! Fridays 10.30-11.30am at St Clements & St Peters church hall, off Barry Road SE22 0HW (opposite Silvester Rd). We make a different project each week - come along, squish it, roll it, join it and get creative! Book in advance or drop in when space allows, ?7.70 per child & ?7 for siblings (or a Class Card for 6 sessions is ?42). www.kidsclayworkshop.com

  In the past there has been a spate of thefts like this around days like Mother's Day. I had all mine stolen once, recently planted up. When I phoned my insurance company, they would only pay out for the window boxes, not the plants and compost, so I didn't bother pursuing it. The police said there had been lots of similar reports. I now chain mine to the window sills.
