Hey there, I?m looking after my 15 month old little girl on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays every week...and I?m interested in finding out if there are any local dad / baby classes in the area I can take my daughter along to on those days? (I am a man obviously 😀).

Any ideas would be really helpful.

Thanks

Hi - you might try the Family section for some more responses, but there is loads out there!

I'm just back to work after mat leave (so a woman!). Try the Hoop app to find stuff near you. I don't know if there is anything dad-specific during the week, there are classes and stay and plays at the weekends, but there are dads at every class. Some suggestions are Glengall Wharf Gardens on a Monday, Besson Street stay and play on a Monday and Wednesday, Tiny Gym, swimming, nimble tots. Also the Whats On section of this Forum. Have a great time with your daughter, the area is fantastic for things to do!

Try foxglove forest school, it?s great fun. On wednesdays it?s at bell house in Dulwich village and on Thursdays in Sydenham. My husband likes taking our daughter and seems a little more dad friendly than some other classes. You could also try swimming lessons at everyone active

    • I think it's a good idea and follows the example of other towns/areas. As it says in the article, the area around the main tourist attractions in Southwark, that is The Globe, Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern and the whole walking route from London Bridge to Blackfriars, takes a lot of maintaining and it shouldn't be a burden on regular council tax payers like us.
