Last saturday I came home from a night out at a local Disco Tech! It wasn't until the next morning I realized that my shoes where not in the door way where I normally leave them?

I have a feeling they are alone Barry Road some where... has any one seen them?

They are brown with a Velcro buckle, they have light brown stitching, with a slightly raised heal. They are very nice shoes and im sure would have been stolen by the first person that saw them on sunday morning.

If you are this person please do the right thing and get in touch as I now only have a pair of flip flops which are causing me to have chill blains due to the cold weather.

If you get in touch with me now.... I will ask no questions, we can arrange a pick up point some where local where you can discreetly drop them off and I can pick them up.

Many Thanks

One legged Thief? funny you should say that!!! I have seen a lady, with what looked like one leg in a wheel chair hanging around Peckham Rhy Park.. looking very suspect!!! I thought exactly the same thing.... So I asked her for the time just so I could take a closer look at her shoe, turns out she already had one. I doubt it was her.... plus im not sure what she would want with a mans shoe...."My mans shoe"

Bizarre, I saw this shoe too! It was on the wall of the not-so-secret cop shop opposite the Actress. Wasnt there when I walked by yesterdsy ( Monday)

Actually that reminds me.

I once played tennis against a guy who had one leg ( plus a prosthetic )

He whipped my sorry ass all around the court & to add insult to injury, took of his "leg" and served out the game from the base line.

He'd lost his leg whilst fixing a puncture on his chopper ( motor-cycle ) by the road side and a bin lorry ran over his leg. He looked like the guy from ZZ-Top & spoke with a very pukka old school accent.

When I saw his brother I remarked on the amazing athletic prowess.

He laughed "Did I not tell you, he was one a Sergeant in II Para"

"Funnily no , I must have missed that" I said.

Not so bizarre. I put it there, having not stolen it from happylarry, but found it lying in the road. I saved it from becoming yet another road fatality statistic.

But happylarry, this is not the shoe you are looking for. You can go about your business. Move along.

(unless you've been spinning us a line and what you've actually lost is a peep toe wedge brogue..?)

Hair ?

Anyone loose any hair last night in Forest Hill ?

It's just by the Barclays bank crossing but on the other side.

( should y'need it back like )

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
