Hi all,


I can highly recommend a chap by the name of Andy for any of your plumbing needs. He contacted me back promptly. He ordered what I needed, brought it to site, installed it, and took away all the rubbish as well as leaving the bathroom clean and tidy. He does the job well, doesn't cut corners and is friendly and efficient.

I can second this recommendation!! Been using him for years! Very knowledgeable and even shows and teaches you things to educate you, rather than leaving you clueless and relying on him. His prices are fair, and he can come at short notice! He?s a legend!!

      I don’t think that this is a Barry’s-specific issue in the area. I’m constantly having parcels refused for delivery at the InPost lockers outside the Family Store on Upland as well as at the Esso garage by the Rye

      I was several miles away and I didn't miss it, as apparently didn't lots of others also several miles away. But as I and others reported although we guessed it was fireworks it sounded more like the WWI front line, albeit from a distance!

      VCR/DVD recorder combi wanted

      Hi. I hope everyone is well. I’m just wondering if anyone in the East Dulwich area has a working VHS/DVD Combi unit that records from VHS to DVD.  Or if anyone is willing to allow me to borrow or lend it for a time until I get all my videos transferred over. I am looking for a few on eBay but either they do not have the recording function or they are just too expensive.  If anyone can help I would be so grateful.  My current one which is a Sharp make started recording fine after years of not being used, then all of a sudden it stopped and hasn’t worked since. When I put a tape in and try, the machine shuts down, and the play button on the remote seems stuck. Thank you to anyone in advance that would be so kind enough to help xx
