Looking for taxi co reccomendations to Heathrow

We've used Mason and Green many times from ED to all airports - it's a very reliable service.

Keen Cars are very reliable, we use them whenever we need cab to Heathrow or Gatwick. I think they tailor the quote to size of car needed.

Not a taxi company, but if you are able to drive, you might consider self-drive using ZipCar Flex. Loads of these cars around ED. They've recently made Heathrow T5 a drop-off zone - you park the car in the short term car park right next to the terminal. Cost (based on 7 trips I've made) is approx ?20 all-in, which is much less expensive than any taxi. Works the other way too (Heathrow to ED - park on the street).

We use BA transfers https://www.batransfer.com/ (not just for BA flights) - they are very reliable and not as expensive as some (though by no means cheap!)

Thanks, but it?s not for me and this person does not like driving in cities.

The Heathrow Travelodge has rooms available from ?39 - lower than any taxi fare I believe and offering the chance of a good night's kip and a decent waking hour, well worth considering if one hasn't anything going on the night before.

I use Carrot Cars (https://www.carrotcars.co.uk/) 2 or 3 times a month and find them reliable and not too expensive. If you use their app then you get 10% off the normal rate.

If I am travelling solo and can manage my luggage, then I catch public transport - which is really cheap and adds on very little time

I go from Brockley to Canada Water - then Jubilee Line to Green Park, then Picadilly line all the way to Heathrow.

There is also the trains from Paddington (and a slightly slower, (not the express) but cheaper train all the way to Heathrow.
