Advice on buggy snuggles

Little one has been promoted to our mclaren but it's so cold ...ed have have never really had a super buggy snuggle

The one I have keeps sliding down

I see other children with lovely sleeping bag type things ... Mind you he is walking now ...

I love the one my boy uses (but he's not walking yet) - the brand is actually called Buggy Snuggle and it's made from very warm fleece. It keeps him so cosy he never feels cold after being in there. I got it second hand on this forum for a fiver but you can also get them on ebay. They are rather pricey new.

I keep seeing these incredibly thick ones that are long, think the're called Kaiser Thermal or something, the bottom actually comes out so they fitbig toddlers. Someone might know what I'm talking about??

Yes, we have that Kaiser one and I love it on our Bugaboo and jogging stroller but think it was too long for the Maclaren? Not 100% sure as we don't use Maclaren much but worth measuring first.

That's why I avoid it as much as possible!

Kaiser is great and does fit if you use the little loops at the bottom and pull them over the Maclaren's bottom "pins" for the rain cover. You need to pull hard but it does keep the footmuff from getting trapped in the wheels. And I take the straps at the top of the footmuff, pull them over the top of the seat and down again and attach them to the horizontal bit of the frame, by the shopping net. Umm... maybe I should post a pic.

John Lewis - ?25 - its red fleece with white stars snuggle. It's great, thick and very warm and looks good too. Excellent value. I always get lots of nice comments about it.

Pics attached. The (effective) way I put the straps to keep the footmuff from sliding down does make it hard to put large objects into the shopping net.

Clever! With that arrangement on the Maclaren I would definitely recommend the Kaiser one. Enjoyed equally by my 9 month old and my large 3 year old and I often leave them out in the garden for naps, even in the winter!
