Whilst surfing the WWW on a plethora of Apple productshttp://images.mirror.co.uk/upl/m4/dec2011/5/6/cherly-cole-image-3-163168389.jpg I like to "kick back" in a pair of these

designed by Cheryl Cole ( hello, remember her ).

They're the perfect leisure item for the season, along with a "slanket" that is.

PR. I know you'll just love these.

I am waiting until then to consider an iPad but have seen that the new Kindle Fire comes out then too - is that likely to be just a cheapo Android driven Galaxy substitute or do readers believe it may offer a genuine alternative?

And on iPods - my OH has one but seems to have to go through iTunes to copy her own CDs onto it, ridiculous non? I have a cheap (under ?20) dongle-shaped MP3 which plugs into a USB port and will take any tracks from Windows Media Player on drag and drop.

    • There are planes going to more than one London airport. It's been discussed on here before, but I can't remember the exact details. Also if memory serves it depends on the prevailing wind exactly what route the planes take on a particular day, but I may be wrong there. Or maybe they vary the route so the same people don't get the noise each time? I moved here (also North Cross Road area) over thirty years ago and the plane noise has always been bad. I don't think it's got any worse, though it may have done. It has always started around 5am or a bit earlier ( on the days the planes take that route, I suppose?) Concord used to fly over around 5pm each day. That was excellent. It always seemed to be directly over my house, but due to the height of planes I guess many people think they are directly over their house! Triple glazing in my bedroom has helped, but not completely,  though it wasn't installed for that reason.
    • Morning All,  Looking for the above - anyone got one lurking around looking for a new home before I go and buy one new.  My project for the long winter nights! Thanks in advance.
