Can anyone recommend a bathroom fitter/plumber?

As the title suggests I'm looking for a plumber/bathroom fitter. I did a search and it didn't come up with many names/recommendations that were for biggish bathroom changes. We only have one bathroom so are keen to find someone who will do the job in a reasonable timescale. It will be a job of taking out a towel radiator, toilet, sink and shower and replacing with a bath (with shower in), toilet and basin all in quite a small bathroom with some current slightly random plumbing. We don't think we want a builder, but a plumber or specialist bathroom fitter. Anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks!

hi there, i know a very professinal plumber/fitter todo you work, his name is Daniel from DE S PLUMING, CAN CHECK AT GOOGLE IF YOU WANT!!! his number is 07780 6900 58 or 0208 6744 532 and if you need a qualified joiner/carpenter you can call me on 0797 2022 354, my name is Alex, many thanks
Build Team - based in Clapham - excellent, excellent, professional service - they have done 2 bathrooms for me and both times were faultless. I was particularly impressed by how clean they left the place each day when they left - really made an effort to be tidy and neat all the way through, not just as the end of the job. They are at buildteam.com I think. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies and the couple of PMs from trades people. I probably should have mentioned that my partner is a carpenter/builder so we're OK for that side of things - it's really the plumbing and possibly associated electrics work that we're scared of, not tiling etc. Anyone else got any recommendations?

I've got to dash but I will reply to the PMs later - thank you

I can also reccommend a great heating a plumbing service: (I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I did my research and got lots of quotes) the contact I chose was a guy called Roland and I can highly reccommend him: he plumbed in my whole bathroom, kitchen and fire and I was brilliantly happy with all aspects of the service, finish and pricing. His number is 07917 405 573

Good luck with your project!

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
