Severe water damage / damp

Hi EDF, would anyone have a recommendations of someone you can trust to do a thorough job?

I've had mixed advice from a few damp specialists - I want to have confidence they are not taking short-cuts as I don't know much about the level of work required.

The water damage and damp is severe in my property due to a faulty roof.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

I had severe water damage some years ago and it was covered by my home insurance. They provided all the relevant people.

The first question to be asked regarding damp is ?where does it come from?.

And you know it?s the roof.

The solution is to cut off the source (ie get the roof fixed)

and then keep the building well ventilated and let it dry out.
