buckleypink
Rumour has it is a black guy with mental health issues who lives along that road. I think someone with relevant resources should set up a hidden camera and nail the culprit once and for all! It is annoying. It's disrespectful to the person concerned. If it's based on facts, then let's hear what they are.ETA: And the same goes for the post about the "Indian looking" cabbie. buckleypink
I won't bother elaborating what the rumour is based on because as you said it's "disrespectful" dispite the fact in my post I haven't publically named the person who is doing it (a black guy with mental health issues could be anybody) which would be disrespectful.I hope whoever is doing it gets the help they need. Thank you. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21386-strange-bottles-full-of-orange-liquid/page/11/#findComment-572833 Share on other sites

MarkE
Just in case anyone is plotting these on a map, detective stylee...There was one, less than 1/4 filled, on the corner of Melbourne Grove and Ashbourne Grove yesterday morning, placed neatly on top of one of the green telecoms cabinets. The bottle used to contain a fruity Volvic offering. "Could be anybody"? How many "black guys with mental health issues" live in this road?!?!?So we have two potential culprits, this person and the "Indian looking" cabbie spotted by a postie. Perhaps they are working together to confuse us? Tom Micklewright
Has anyone plotted this (taking the reference from the 9 pages of posts!) on a map?Would make a good detective game - ED style.Perhaps the person who can reveal the identity of the mystery bottler should be given the honour of deciding whether we turn Iceland into an M&S?Tom Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21386-strange-bottles-full-of-orange-liquid/page/11/#findComment-574392 Share on other sites

healey
DulwichFox Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Dirty Cooking Oil from local Restaurant...or even> from Domestic source.> > Fox.Why do you insist on it being cooking oil? It looks nothing like cooking oil to me. Plus the idea of someone going to the trouble of cooling, filtering and bottling used oil into drinks bottles so that they could then place it on the street is a bit of a stretch. Cabbies and truckers leaving urine in drink bottles is a known practice, on the other hand. herrd
Healey: as it's about the umpteenth time Fox has posted on the topic (though he/she claims we shouldn't be giving them any attention) it seems he/she has been giving it an awful lot of microanalysis. DulwichFox
Just look at the first picture in the first post and tell me the middle bottle is urine. The person would have to be Very ill to produce pee that colour.I bottle my used oil and take it to Southwark Depot now in Devon Street.Others here may not do this and just pour it down the sink.So the bottles on the street are not mine. But I truely care about my enviroment. I know from many people here that that sort of level of concernlabels me as some sort of crank. As is my level of concern for other matters here.Well in that case i'm a crank. We need more cranks in E.D. It would be a much nicer place. So the bottles on the street are not mine.I have included a picture for all to compare.Fox. Perhaps they should be out with their Cameras looking for Rare Buterflies or Moths. As for my Gender. I thought that would be obvious to all the little detectives out there. Herrd:- As for the Gin. Well if you feel the need. ???Fox. computedshorty
I understand that urine is a cure for chilblains. Will anybody be testing it by taking a bowl and a stool to sit on, it might take a while to relieve your pain, but what a relief if it works, think of the money you could make taking it home selling it.But be as elusive as the person who put the bottles there, or if seen someone might say, " You are taking the Pi** " Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21386-strange-bottles-full-of-orange-liquid/page/11/#findComment-581684 Share on other sites
Miss P
Saw a mum with her child have to step into the road to avoid the bottles this morning as they are now arranged to cover the full width of the pavement - this is obviously a hazard on a part of the road that is a bit of a blind corner anyway. Joking apart, can anything be done to stop this littering?
