I'm at the south end of Underhill - post has been picking-up - pretty well daily in the week before and after Christmas (excluding bank holidays) - and looks up to date. Nothing now that I know I'm missing. And Christmas cards actually all seemed to arrive before Christmas - if a bit slow to start. Mostly deliveries before 12.00 as well, and not late into the afternoon.

This would be the Craig Wallace who appeared on television recently saying he was not aware of any continuing problems with the mail deliveries in East Dulwich, or words to that effect?

Seems from the available evidence that he is either not doing his job properly, or is lying through his teeth.

My Christmas post was taking about 7-10 days to turn up, had five day in a row with no deliveries at all.

Emailed Craig P Wallace but no response. Did get a very apologetic response from the CEO however, I had also attached a photo of the massive queue at Highshore Road just before Christmas. Also reported the problems on the Customer Service number.

Important to keep on raising the issue if the service doesn't improve.

I once had an Amazon parcel left on my wall (not by Royal Mail) and not surprisingly it was stolen.

Amazon sent me a replacement, so apart from complaining to Royal Mail you should probably complain to Amazon.

    • I need to go to Asda in the Old Kent Road tomorrow. Theoretically I can get a 78 or 363 bus, but it looks as if the bus stop at East Dulwich Road/Peckham Rye may be closed. I don't know why, but I assume it may be due to gas or water works. Does anybody know if it is just this bus stop, or are other bus stops (or the routes) affected?  I don't want to get a nasty surprise tomorrow, as I have an appointment, so it's time critical.
