skyblue
Would anyone have a rotovator that I could borrow for half a day in exchange for a bottle of something nice or similar?Thank you. Effra
Hi,Wrong time of year and wrong tool. With the high clay content in soil around Easy Dulwich, I would recommend you do a deep dig over with a spade and then leave it all rough and uneven so that the frost gets to it over the next 2 months. The frost breaks down the clods and makes it more workable. This is the best way to get good soil texture with aeration. Then when the soil dries out in the spring/early summer use a rotavator then. If you rotavate now it is a waste of time and will make your soil worse than it is now.
