I am a zumba teacher at push studios. Zumba is a mixture of dances from all over world and different eras mixed with aerobic exercises and is great fun and anyone is welcome. I teach at push studios (behind william rose butcher) on a Monday at 7pm. Would you be interested you think?

I'm a million miles away from being a jogging fan, but having joined 'Free fitness in the park' Peckham Rye (check what's on listings)I can't imagine not going! It's more than just jogging, it's a friendly bunch of mixed ability fitness levels, we stop at 100m lengths to do muscle tone work, but more importantly We have FUN!

I am selling my Lateral Thigh Trainer and power cords and instruction book and DVD for ?20.

It's fun, but I can't be arsed. I should post this post in the For Sale section. But, since you're asking....

I am also selling on a mini trampet one diameter wide for ?12 if you want it. Too big for my little living room!

Here are some suggestions:

American football

athletics

badminton

basketball

cricket

cycling

dancing

dry slope skiing

football including 5-a-side

golf

gymnastics

hockey

indoor rock climbing

martial arts

netball

rowing

rugby

skating

skate boarding

squash

table tennis

tennis

ten pin bowling

volleyball

walking

wrestling

Whatever form of exercise you choose it is essential that it is something you really enjoy doing otherwise you are unlikely to keep it up. Team sports are a good way to socialise as well as get fit. If you are highly self-motivated solo activities may give you greater flexibility over where and when you exercise. You can ensure you are always motivated by setting achievable weekly and monthly goals.

The best exercise is that which you can incorporate into your daily activities. Exercise need never be dull if you are creative.

All the best

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
