nxjen
?An extra tenner to add on for workmen [and are they going to be happy to pay to come and give you a quote?]?They won?t have to pay to come and give a quote as it?s up to the resident to purchase a temporary permit on their behalf.I had someone visit to do some work in my house yesterday and I asked how a CPZ would affect him. He said that his clients buy the permits entitling him to park and that parking, from his point of view, is a lot easier within a CPZ. Just saying. My concern is that the residents will be paying out for all sorts of extras that are currently free, Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/215513-impending-cpzs-southwarks-approach-to-service-workers-and-to-local-businesses/page/2/#findComment-1309937 Share on other sites
goldilocks
Depends on the hours doesn?t it. If it was a 2 hour window maybe not, if 8-6 or similar, perhaps more so Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/215513-impending-cpzs-southwarks-approach-to-service-workers-and-to-local-businesses/page/2/#findComment-1309964 Share on other sites
Jacqui5254
Yes, I agree. The previous CPZ area I lived in we requested 12-2 as we were over a mile to the station and we got 8.30-8pm, Mon-Sat so I worry for the decisions made on the timings of the CPZ. Currently they can?t park anywhere nearby to be able to do so!
