Good post.

?An extra tenner to add on for workmen [and are they going to be happy to pay to come and give you a quote?]?

They won?t have to pay to come and give a quote as it?s up to the resident to purchase a temporary permit on their behalf.

I had someone visit to do some work in my house yesterday and I asked how a CPZ would affect him. He said that his clients buy the permits entitling him to park and that parking, from his point of view, is a lot easier within a CPZ. Just saying.

apologies, my post should have read.." are you going to be happy to pay for someone to come and give a quote?", highlighting that even short visits from people will end up costing us money.

My concern is that the residents will be paying out for all sorts of extras that are currently free,

I would be happy for people to be able to come and quote. Currently they can?t park anywhere nearby to be able to do so!

    • John has fitted a kitchen for us before and we have loved what he did so when we did a big refurb we didn’t hesitate to book him again, rather than the recommended fitter. We are so glad we did. He worked with us and fitted around our build diary and he and Gabi kept us fully up to speed and visited when we needed. He did a brilliant job and it was not easy. I hadn’t quite done the best job with ordering our kitchen (!)  and so he had to come back twice to do extra bits and did so with lots of grace. He was lovely to have around and fitted in to our family life for the time he was here.  It was a complicated kitchen and he did a wonderful job, we are so pleased. John and Gabi work really well together to make it all seamless and nothing is too tricky. We highly recommend John and love our new kitchen.  Mobile 07557 907729.
