Acoustic guitar

I can't see any reason why an adult would want to start with a 3/4 size guitar.

I got my first (classical) guitar when I was about fifteen, I'm only small, it was full size and I had no problems at all.

If you start off with a less than full size one, you've presumably then got to adjust quite a bit when you move on to a full size one. What would be the point of that?

Whereas I offered my daughter a spare guitar for my granddaughter who was then eleven, and my daughter said she would need a smaller one.

Children's hands, arms and stretch are smaller than adults', which is why they need a smaller guitar to start, or it would be very frustrating if not impossible to try to play it.

As you hadn't specified in your post that it wasn't a normal full size guitar, and as two people asked for details, I think it was perfectly fair that I pointed out that it was a three quarter sized guitar.

That is not disputing what you posted, and I'm sorry if you thought it wasn't helpful.

I googled the model once you had included that in your post because I was interested in it myself until I found out it wasn't full size.

Somebody not knowing about guitars might have bought it and then found it wasn't suitable.

Apologies again.
