Anyone know why buses going past north dulwich rather than past east dulwich. On a 176 going up red post hill!

yes there was an incident near the Canning a person was on the road, hit by car or something and they taped it off even after the ambulance had gone. so probably collecting evidence. buses from lordship lane turning to peckham at Goose green.

Anyone heard anymore on how the person in question is doing or what happened here? I walked past as the man was being put in the ambulance.

There has just been an appeal on local radio by the Road Investigation Unit for witnesses to this incident. Not the actual collision (they have witnesses for that); they are looking for information about the car and driver.

It was a dark coloured, new (less than six years old) VW Golf. If you can help, please call them on 020 8285 1574. If you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

I think they are hoping that someone has notice a damaged car answering that description, either parked locally or booked into a garage for repair.

The elderly victim has suffered severe head injuries and has a broken leg.

The victim was a 93-year-old man called Ernest Maloney.

I just hope someone got a look at the number plate.
