apbremer
We were told by a postie that there used to be a number of collection times throughout the day listed on the letter box. This was stopped and forbidden by Brussels as unfair competition for private collection services!.Madness and very irritating. This is the worst kind of anti-EU bullshit you are spreading. Guest
That is utter nonsense. The Royal Mail made an internal decision to stop having set delivery times for purely logistical reasons. This way they can employ fewer staff and the ones they have can be more flexible about pick ups. This is fact. Guest
Daily pick ups from post boxes are any time from 9-6.30. There should be something on the post box telling you if the day's collection has been made and when the next collection is. vic.ham
Most postboxes around LL seem to be 5pm although there is one on upland road near friern road which is in the morning.
