Hi guys, what is the age group at thesein meets? Been following this thread for months (have actually attended the early gatherings when this first started) Im a 40 yr male who is always up for a laugh and a joke, but may turn up in my pipe n slippers!
Please all also come to the Peckham Liberal Club on Elm Grove Tuesday 25 June for the launch of Peckham Pandamonium ? great live jazz, only ?5. It's listed in Events, don't want to get in trouble for listing twice. (The creators are all 40+, but all ages welcome....)
I've been following this thread for, what seems like, years but never made it due to work. Finally I am able to attend so will be good to meet some new local people on saturday. I'm hardly new to the area but a lot of people I know are moving away or turning into proper grown ups so it's getting harder and harder to find people to go out and play with. See you saturday. • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
