simonethebeaver
We're thinking of buying on the road coming off Underhill Road towards Lordship Lane. Rightmove tells me that they are roughly equidistant between Horniman and Goodrich. I can't work out crow flies distances but both look like they are a bit further out than the current catchment distances. Does anyone else live near here? Is this a primary school disaster zone? BeccaL
Sorry to say but, yes, probably. We're on Overhill and only got a place at Goodrich because there was a bulge class (3 years ago). That will have reduced the catchment size because of siblings. We were top of the Horniman waiting list which that year didn't have a bulge class but they did have one this school year so not sure what next year's catchment will be. Worth checking with authorities and schools but my gut feel is that you might have a hard time unless you were closer to Eliot bank (towards Sydenham) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22161-hornimangoodrich-catchments/#findComment-525496 Share on other sites
simonethebeaver
Hmmm. It's a toss up between this one and one definitely in the Fairlawn catchment. My daughter is only 9 months so I suppose who knows what will happen then. Eliot Bank is an outside shot perhaps. My stepson is there and we love it so I'd love her to go there. BeccaL
Would stepson count as a sibling place? Might be worth asking... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22161-hornimangoodrich-catchments/#findComment-525558 Share on other sites
simonethebeaver
He would, because he lives with us full time, but too old. He's already 9. Bad planning!
