Black cab apps

Does anyone use the Gett app? Would you recommend it as an Uber alternative? thanks

Gett is rubbish. I use MyTaxi all the time, its got better coverage than Gett, and many more cabbies signed up to MyTaxi than to gett. Occasionally, you can have trouble getting a cab quickly in Dulwich depending on the time of day, but Gett was considerably worse when I used it. MyTaxi is no not perfect, but def the best black cab app for mine

Agree. My Taxi is not as good an app as it's predecessor Hailo but is the best for black cabs. The new electric black cabs are great- feel quite luxurious. You can also prebook on My Taxi which I've always found reliable. Black cabs frequently faster than Uber if its rush hour as they can use the bus lanes. Or if you have kids and a buggy. Uber much cheaper for when it's quieter.
