Some thing to think about.

Petrol Station ? ?We will serve petrol to customers in metal containers only?

Church ? ?Don?t let your worries kill you. Let the minister help?

On a carton of milk ? ?After opening, store upright?

On paint-stripper heat-gun ? ?Do not use as a hair-dryer?

A set of lights ? ?For indoor and outdoor use only?

A butcher?s shop window ? ?Try our home made sausages. Once tasted you?ll never want another?

Notes passed between doctors:

?The patient has no history of suicide?

?This patient is numb from the toes down?

?This lady has been unable to conceive, but I think you should be able to rectify that?

?At the moment her temperature is normal, but her husband says she is sometimes very hot in bed?

A thought resulting from above ? Doesn't it worry you that doctors practice medicine?

Statements on radio/TV etc:

TV Newsreader - "This is was an unexpected surprise"

Richard Whiteley ? ?I never do requests unless I?m asked to?

Glen Hoddle ? ?In football you have to be able to handle the ball?

Brian Johnson ? ?The bowler?s Holding. The batsman?s Willie?

Murray Walker - "With half the race gone, there's still half to go"

Some sayings:

?Life is what happens when you are making other plans?

?Charity begins at home ? and ends up in a foreign country?

?Two?s company, three is the result?

"I thought it was all big bounce these days."

Well I guess it's about exchange, there's not an unreasonable argument that suggests that information is based on exchange. Unless there is a differential there can't really be an exchange.

It doesn't really make much difference whether it's the big chill, or heat death, or however you'd like to define it - once there's no exchange of information existence becomes immaterial.

Since the 'big bounce' theory entails an interegnum of essential passivity, then it's kind of like worrying about football whilst peering at your donut. Parkdrive?

No I thinks its gone

It was the first club that had a free drinking fountain & air con as standard

I went there a few times, the last was the most *ahem* enlightening

I discovered that with the right person/badge that there was another room upstairs

And what an eye opener that night/room was. In fact, after that night I couldn't shut my eyes for at least 36 hours

    • ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)? Were some of the concerns expressed in opposition to the planning application a teensy bit overblown...? https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/southwark/mega-nursery-approved-amid-dramatic-planning-meeting/
    • If I don’t feed the birds, they’ve actually come and perched on the fence and stared directly at me through the window. The squirrels do that too.
    • Reading The words 'Artisan'  and 'Curated' when refering to my 'Breakfast Bundle' frankly make me feel a bit..🤢
    • I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well).  Delivered by bike.
