Our ginger and white cat Atticus has been missing since Sunday. We live on Oglander road where he spends a lot of time hanging out on the street, but he has been known to wander a long way from home when we go away, and occasionally to invite himself into a new home! But he has a hone here and is much missed, not least by our other cat...he is microchipped, and quite easily identified by white stripe on nose, see picture. Please reply if you think you?ve sen him.

Hi, I posted that on the national pet register - I think we found your cat last night, on Choumert Road (top end). He followed us in the house, I thought he seemed lost. I gave him a bit of chicken and water which he seemed grateful for, and had a long cuddle. He was very friendly, and didn't want to leave so stayed with us for a couple of hours but then left in the early hours of this morning. Sorry, I was planning to take him to the vet this morning to check for microchip but he left before I had a chance. But it definitely looks like your guy - this one had a tiny tear on his left ear, does that sound familiar? I'll keep looking out for him and let you know if I see him again. Sorry I can't be more help, but hope that gives you reassurance that he's ok and still in the local area.
Oh fantastic!! I'm so pleased for you! I've been really worried for you (and felt so terrible we hadn't kept him long enough to get scanned, or that I'd thought of checking on the EDF earlier!). You must all be so happy. Did he come home, or did you find him wandering?

    • I can't access the article - what's the gist?  I took the markets getting jittery when she was crying at PMQs to be a sign that they trusted her. But maybe it was because they were simply worried about any form of instability.  The NIC hikes have stymied the economy, which we could all see a mile off. Will a wealth tax improve things? Does anyone here think the trickle down has any impact and that chasing out the super rich will help things? Or are we just seeing off the biggest contributors to the economy? And has the Kwasi approach ever worked anywhere else?  Economics is not my strong point at all, I'd love to know others' opinions, but it seems to be she has few options, especially as the party is so divided.
    • does either of them have a surgery? probably not over summer, but I thought they had to give the opportunity for their constituents to meet them.
    • MaryT, I’ve contacted the Dulwich Hill councillors several times in recent years, always copying them both in. I have never had an acknowledgment from Jon Hartley (not even an automated response or out-of-office) nor had any response or engagement from him regarding the issue raised.   On each occasion, only Maggie Browning responded (she uses an out-of-office if she is away). The last time, I received no response from either for 3 months, until Maggie Browning emailed me to apologise for not responding and asking if the problem had been resolved.
    • The  Kwasi effect is being considered.
