Hi. We are Bittermoon, a South London-based band. We have plenty of very well rehearsed material, mostly covers, a few our own and are gig-ready

We have many years of pro and non-pro playing live experience and are in our '50s.

We're looking for someone in London (or nearby) who knows and loves electric Americana, pop-rock and jingle jangle classics with British edge and pace.

2 guitars bass and drums line-up. Think uptempo REM, The Jayhawks, Smithereens, Counting Crows, Teenage Fanclub.

We play for pure enjoyment, do gigs when we can and are flexible about how much we play.

No egos or drama. A love of playing, relaxed attitude, sense of humour, and ability to play tight steady drums, own transport - all essential.

No money right now, the odd gig might pay sometimes. Private parties, that sort of thing. London rehearsals.

Current drummer has too many family commitments now to be available, hence this ad.

  SE23 has always been known as the over spill to SE22, for those that wish but can't afford it, however look at all the benefits SE23 has to offer, as they say, the choice is yours, oh, sorry wrong show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I highly recommend James. I had a few sets of lights (indoor and outdoor) that were no longer working. I texted him yesterday afternoon about the problematic lights, and he had fixed them all by this morning! Very happy that he investigated the issues and found fixes, rather than immediately saying I needed to replace everything, which was the standard response by others. I had other electricians (many who are recommended on this forum) that came round to inspect the work and told me I'd need to replace the lot for a substantial cost. Extremely professional and prompt with very reasonable pricing.

  Indeed and possibly because with such an extensive wish list as stated, it will be a nigh on impossible to achieve a suitable property for that budget, outside the Village or Alleyn Park area. Even then, all wishes being equal, it would need > £3m to get a suitable property. Compromise would seem appropriate therefore , which suggests rating each "wish" in order of priority.
