Oh khewwwwll

A tattoo.

Woof!

(Bit unlikely for the son character to do that but like the way you're thinking!)

You lot are great and I am so moved you're thinking about this!!!!

So far I am researching the sixth finger scar idea (my mate's kid had a 6th finger removed so will talk with her later) combined with father walks with a stick (like HughLaurie HOUSE) and son has accident so temp walks with a stick too.

How about a heredity sixth finger with a very unusual and prominent family crested ring on it, or something like that, a mixture of a few of the ideas on here or I quite like the idea of a heredity birthmark on the face, the large purplish ones or a heredity limp through birth defect, they all sound ok to me.

Birthmarks are not hereditary, sadly. Sixth fingers are a chromosone issue not necessarily hereditary at all.

But the ideas in this forum have given me some great ideas and I am so grateful!

Doing some research in to some of them now. It has to be believable and not convoluted, and simple.

You lot are bringing tears to me eyes with your thoughts and ideas!

I wondered if I was mad posting a topic in here this afternoon!

Now that's interesting. I had never heard of it so googled it and this here very site what we're reading and writing upon now came up so not a lot is written about it. I think I know what you mean about it though. It's really kind of you to think about it. I'll think about it, too!

Anyone else? Are ya bored yet? !

    • Naaah, it's rubbish - it would be a change of use so would need planning. https://www.planningdirect.co.uk/planningappeals/affordable-planning-applications/change-of-use/commercial-to-takeaway-change-of-use There's not enough footfall for a McDonalds, anyway, and they're quite picky about their sites
    • So let's never do anything that might improve an area, because it will just be dragged down to the level of what's presently there? Is that what you are saying? I don't have the time or the inclination to do the research, but I'm pretty sure that I have read  that when people who had lived in a very run down area  were given  nice surroundings, they appreciated and looked after them.
