Bugaboo Chameleon - Maxi Cosi Base Question

Hi,

I have heard that the Maxi Cosi Cabrio car-seat doesn't fit onto the Maxi Cosi EasyFix base when the Bugaboo adapters are fitted.

Do any Chameleon owners know if this is true? If it is does the set-up fit onto the FamilyFix base with the adapters in place?

I am almost certain that the maxi cosi plus adaptors fit straight onto the easy fix base. It's been over a year since we put our maxi cosi away, but I'm 99% sure it was possible

You have to take the adapters off to fit it onto the easy fix. Not sure about family fix, but looks similar. Only a two second job though and adapters get thrown into bugaboo base ready for next use.

I think I might go to John Lewis at the weekend and have a play. They seem to have everything out for testing anyway.

These bases are quite expensive so don't want to get one and it not work!

It's true and I assume familyfix will be the same - the adaptors stick out a lot and are designed to go on the "knobs" on top of bugaboo chassis.

But it's not a problem, as you can take the seat off the adaptors and leave the adaptors on the chassis.
