Am really sorry to have to post this but a 4x4 hit a black and white cat with a red collar on Oglander Road this morning. The cat has unfortunately died at the side of the road. My painter and decorator saw the accident happen so I got to the cat pretty quickly but it hasn't moved for the last hour. I called two vets and several no.s for the RSPCA earlier to try and get help but no one can do anything. If this is your cat, let me know if you need me to do anything else.
There are 2 black and white medium sized cats who look very similar; they frolic and play together around the intersection of Muschamp and Oglander. One of them in particular is always running about and whizzing back and forth across both roads. I wonder if it was one of these cats. Always scares me when I see cats without road sense that are out in the streets. One of them had a near miss about 2 weeks ago on Muschamp.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
