Excess garden waste

Ive got quite a lot of tree cuttings and bits of garden waste to get rid of - not sure ive got space to burn it or that it would be safe to do so. It wont all fit in brown bin - if i bag it up will they take it away w my brown bin waste? Does it need to be in special bags?

Put in brown bags or garden bin. Could ask neighbours if you could borrow theirs as well.

Not supposed to have bonfires in Southwark. It's do with nuisance factor and smoke. Can only do controlled burning in those metal containers preferably.

Look on Southwark website - can get brown bags from various places including Dulwich Library. Should then be taken away along with brown bin (I think)

That's what I did a couple of months ago, and everyone I asked kindly agreed. I checked afterward that their bins had been properly cleared.

Some of us can get instant headaches from even small, wholly invisible, amounts of smoke in the air.
