Hello I'm a newbee and this is A Shot in the Dark...

Clouseau: And... they were your fingerprints!

Benjamin Ballon: Well, why not? It's my house. I've often been in that closet.

Clouseau: For what reason?

Benjamin Ballon: Last time was moths.

Clouseau: "Meuths"?

Benjamin Ballon: [very clearly] Moths!

Clouseau: Yes, "meuths."

Benjamin Ballon: Maria was complaining of "murths."

[frowns at himself]

Clouseau: "Meurths"? Is that right, Maria, that - that you were complaining about these "meuths"?

Maria Gambrelli: Yes, I did complain about moths.

Clouseau: Oh, you mean "meuths"!

(Scottish Gangster translates meuths!):)

Yeah, but if you want to go you'll have to take the bus as they're introducing a CPZ unless we can get a million signatures

Where's the fun in that? I was told they were kept by the manager of one of the estate agents, who'd be grateful to hear of any escapees.

'It's a bot.'

'It's obviously a wind-up.'

'It's actually his fifth incarnation on the forum.'

'His posts may sound endearingly witty and outspoken but in person he's a remote-worker with poor hygiene who can't make eye contact with women.'

'Correct, there are no nice single men in ED between the ages of 40 and 65.'

    • This might be a better picture.
    • I don't think anyone would object to the examples you have given being given space in the noticeboard (Theatre Peckham is a registered charity) and I think reflect the original intentions behind their introduction. I would not like to see advertisements for purely commercial enterprises e.g yoga studios, cafes, tradesmen which would not be in keeping with the original purpose.
    • Multiple complaints and reports of the leak but no barrier as of 4.30pm today. Shockingly bad form especially as they had TW engineers on site across the road this morning. Fix one, another bursts. Lots of residents without water in this hot weather, just terrible...
    • I agree... perhaps you could also write to our local councillors to point these things out. Never know they might actually reply! Thanks for your help speaking to Monica. She may hopefully have useful contacts re obtaining a key. Completely agree - what's on (which could include some small businesses  such as Theatre Peckham, which I think may be a charity or at least community not for profit? And school fairs type thing..) plus anything the community would find useful, such as free events for the elderly (LinkAge are active in ED and surrounding areas) and lots more.
