"Ohhh" I said as I was greeted with "Happy Good Friday" from my other half this morning

"Is there such a greeting" I inquired cautiously

"There is now"

Followed by "I want to watch a Jesus film"

"Hmmmm..okay, let's have some breakfast first shall we"

(I gently made good my escape to the kitchen)

"How about Kew gardens to see how the Mayans discovered chocolate"

So, "Happy Good Friday" to you all

I have a feeling it's going to be a loooong day today

Try to be more entertaining PaulK and give us all a lift.

I would say AC that HGF is probably quite offensive to Christians given that their leader was nailed to a cross on this day. On the other hand as they know he will rise again in a couple of days maybe not so much. It's a bit like the Titanic 'unsinking' don't you think?

It's a Julia DeVille from her Memento Mori jewellery collection -

Loving the brooch...http://www.e-potpourri.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/julia-deville-prey-brooch.jpg

...wonder if that's her real name?

    • used to love Meson don felipe with the funny guitarist who used to climb up and play on a podium, still a nice lively atmosphere and we still pop in if at the young vic but there's a lot better Spanish eateries near Borough market which is closer to the Tate too. Barrafina, Brindisa (though neither are cheap) and a few weeks ago we tried one called Parrillan, where they bring a little grill to your table and you cook your own tapas - this one certainly ticks the box for quirky but the portions are small so the bill can mount up.
    • Their finest moment...
    • How about Ev or one of the other places under the railway arches in Isabella Street behind The Cut.  And there's leafy outdoor seating if the weather's nice.
    • I don't know but I'm fairly certain you had the least incorrect predictions on more than one occasion. This time you got enough exact predictions to get you over the line. Well Done! Thanks RD for organising once again. It's a long season!
