midivydale
Calling fellow reflux mothers... Consultant has recommended that lil one is upright as much as possible. I carr him most of the time as he isnt very happy in a sling but consultant a good quality bouncy chair. We have one but baby son is nowhere near as uPright as he needs to be? Any ideas would be greatly apprciated. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22853-can-you-recommend-bouncy-chair-for-reflux-baby/ Share on other sites
hellosailor
the baby bjorn chair is the one that can be made most upright, it is adjustable. They are expensive first hand but can be picked up cheaper on here or on ebay etclook here Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22853-can-you-recommend-bouncy-chair-for-reflux-baby/#findComment-536188 Share on other sites
clarebells
Sorry to move off the subject slightly here, but if you say your baby isn't happy in the sling, its more than likely that the sling is not comfortable or properly fitted. There is a great sling library and consultation resource in the area - http://southlondonslings.com/Might be worth checking the sling situation out, as the benefits of close contact are great for reflux babies as I understand it.Good luck. Strawbs
We got an expensive one which he didn't like so went to tesco at Surrey quays and picked up a cheap one which loved and still uses. He spends a lot of time now in his jumperoo (he has a serious obsession with it! Haha) as he is standing the whole time, Isaac is a bit young for that yet but might be something to get later on. Belle
we used two fisherprice ones (one upstairs and one downstairs) and found he was happy with that...slings, we ahd a baby bjorn to start with, then switched to a beco gemini, which is similar in style so v easy to use plus upright, quite dear but you can look out for special offers and the resale value will be good. Also can be hired from the slumberoo website if you want to try before you buy.
