I love this version, occasionally I get to work in Crete for a couple of months of the year. There's a small kiosk just as you leave Chania going west, they do a good Souvlaki-pita, tightly wrapped in plain white paper. Car window open, driving through the olive groves, hot air outside and half the ingredients on your lap, just can't be beaten really

[quote name=Souvlaki-pita

This course consists of souvlaki meat garnished with sliced tomatoes and onions' date=' sauced with tzatziki, and wrapped in a lightly grilled pita.]

Actually, thinking about it.

There's a place on King's Road called Ranoush that does something as near on perfect. It's also not too pricey. The area on the left is where you can sit at the stainless steel bar and they prep everything right there in front of you, just as you like it.

Pickles, Charcoal grilled lamb.....

Oh man, it's pretty good

    • These have reduced over the years, are "perfect" lives Round Robins being replaced by "perfect" lives Instagram posts where we see all year round how people portray their perfect lives ?    The point of this thread is that for the last few years, due to issues at the mail offices, we had delays to post over Christmas. Not really been flagged as an issue this year but I am still betting on the odd card, posted well before Christmas, arriving late January.
