Hi. I have many recommendations under this name & my previous name Gardenman. We pride ourselves on doing a good job & guarantee our work. We would be happy to give a free quote & give design ideas. I suggest you get 3 quotes & get as many ideas & balance of prices.

I pm'd you.

Have seen work Jan has done, and will go and ask the house owners what they thought.

Hi,

Scott Prentice is fantastic. SP Paving & tilling is the company name. You can check them on checkatrade.com to see previous recommendations and photos of before and afters. Free quotes and all work guaranteed etc.

Good luck :-)

Nigel may well be a great gardener, however if he's going to waste time (his and mine) by coming over and then not bothering to quote then to be honest he's not worth contacting in the first place. He seemed like such a nice guy but unfortunately failed to provide me with a quote (came over 4 weeks ago!) and I even contacted him to ask him where the quote was and he said "I've been really busy but I will have your quote to you tomorrow or Saturday" and that was 3 weeks ago! Waste of time....

    • I'm genuinely sorry if I have derailed this thread, which started off as being about a specific burglary in Lacon Road. I will start another thread in the lounge, because I think the general points being discussed are important.
    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
