To look at great, but I'm talking about the sheer stupidity of these "young ladies"

You should go up north, it's a point of pride there, no hugging themselves or looking cold. I do wonder how they manage when I've got a hat, scarf and gloves on a night out on the Tyne, and they're wandering around happily in underwear.

I'm guessing copious amounts of Bacardi Breezer helps.

House prices!

Front page of the Times Online this morning: house price growth slowest for a decade. Font page of Guardian Online: Prices up as 2007 ends ... every single day there is a story about house prices or mortgages. Enough!

Similarly, I am sick and tired of the endless news stories about how we haven't shopped enough this Xmas, the High Street has been hit badly, M&S profits are down, Next sales are down. So what? Are we supposed to feel guilty? Because if we are, why then the next day do we read stories about how we are overburdened with debts, and how this is disastrous for the economy, etc.

House Prices! I know what you mean. I?ve had enough of people talking about them constantly. In the fucking pub, at parties, around the dinner table! Enough already, I?ve got a house, you?ve got a house. This is a nice thing as neither of us gets wet when we are sleeping. Now can you shut the fuck up about it and talk about something interesting!

Or is that all you got?

My first job was 15 years ago as a lifeguard in South Africa and I got paid 3.50 South African Rands an hour. I worked 30 hours a week which meant I got R105 a week. Which converted to Pounds at the current exchange rate (which I know isn?t relevant but this is just for fun) is ?7.73. Which all works out to a grand total of ?401.96 a year.

I did however get to sit around in the sun all day and look at girls in bikinis.

    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…
    • Looking for a wrought iron bench with wooden slats in need of restoration - something like this.
    • I would'nt go locally I'd go to Maria Tash in Liberty..it'll be more expensive but they will do a good job and its their buisness not a 'sideline' to other beauty offerings. https://www.mariatash.com/store-locations/maria-tash-london-liberty?srsltid=AfmBOoqMz7Ev-4YqzrlkePX0n3i5JbiggGYSR9kU5z1p_ajP_jjQKqlt I have no experience of piercing at Polished but I went in to enquire about a manicure and I found the staff attitude pretty rude, looking me up and down when I walked in and just giving off a bad attitude like they just could'nt be bothered maybe because I'm not a glam 30 something? I dont know.
