My ex-missus kept a diary, at laeast when we were first going out (er, nine years ago!) but I never looked. Precisely because I loved her and trusted her, I never looked.

I am halfway through series four - got UK edn because I wanted to prolong the enjoyment. Heard that the UK won't get series four on telly till summer but won't get series five till next year - this true?! Cos if so, I shall have to download series five from the interworld. Still the best programme on TV ever, though, IMO.

I actually remember you saying it the other week on the "Best advice" thread :)) There's always also, "If voting ever changed anything, they'd abolish it". I like that one too.

On the one hand, it is fair enough to penalise people for littering. However, there are very few places where you can put your used fag-end/cigar butt. It is one thing to fine people, another not to make it easy to get rid of your rubbish.

I read his book Bash the Rich: True Life Confessions of an Anarchist in the UK the other Xmas - quite good, and very funny! I disagree with CW on tactics though - it now seems to be a re-run of past glories, rather than anything new. True, Fuxtons (sic) do inspire a healthy anger in people, but I don;t think they cause gentrification, only try to make profits out of it. Also, they are way behind when it comes to ED - they should have been here ages ago. What I say to everyone who decries the existence of Fuxtons on LL is that I am surprised only that they did not move in sooner.

I thought Ian Bone did still figure large in Class War? He was on the Bash the Rich demo at the end of last year in Notting Hill, no? TBH, I don't think Foxton-bashing amounts to much either. Like Foxtons into ED, Class War attacking our favourite estate agent seems a bit johnny-come-lately ...
