The guys who were stripping it out in December told me it's to be a dental surgery, and they seemed to think it was going to be part of the same surgery that will open at 2 Lordship Lane [which I think has been granted planning recently]so it would run all the way round the back of numbers 4 and 6 LL.

Clearly thats going to be the most orally well-catered street; the first house on the right as you walk along zenoria street is also currently a dentist's outfit!

Ultraconsultancy

Interesting.

If the Zenoria Street premises are used as the surgery entrance, and if an additional fire exit is provided, then the retail premises at 2 Lordship Lane could retain their retail use.

Has anyone seen the detail of the planning application?

    • There was something to do a with a gate in the Brockwell case, I can't recall the detail, but the council removed a gate, which had been gifted in trust to the park, so the festival builders could allow access, or something. And that was illegal and that's what enabled Rylance et al to litigate.
    • How long is the Gala, and potential new event, disruption….this could be key from the article on the High Court challenge against Lambeth…   Under permitted development rules, a temporary change of use is allowed for a total of 28 days each calendar year, but the Brockwell Park festivals run over 37 days and were due to begin on 23 May.
    • Try the castle upstairs, you'd need to buy a few drinks in return.  @Suecan you advise?  It will be in use some Mondays no doubt
    • Yes, I was bemused to see that notice in Barry Road. It seemed a strange place to be having a drop off point.
